Texas Historical Makers -- link will take you to Travis County markers but there are markers available for the whole state. Markers are listed in alphabetical order. Excellent site!
Waymarking - you'll need to search on a topic like "Hornsby" near "Austin, Texas". Also provides a map of items meeting your search criteria.
